Technical Content Writer & Canva Designer

We are seeking a talented Technical Content Writer & Brand Designer to work directly with our leadership team to transform building science, energy efficiency, roofing, solar, healthy home, and construction expertise into professional, customer-facing educational materials. This individual will be responsible for creating high-quality homeowner and property owner resources, including checklists, guides, workbooks, eBooks, and other educational content that helps position ECOcentrix as a trusted industry expert. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable researching and writing technical content as they are designing visually appealing, professionally branded deliverables. You should be able to take complex concepts related to energy efficiency, home performance, solar energy, roofing systems, indoor air quality, and building science and translate them into easy-to-understand resources for homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients. In addition to writing, you will be responsible for designing materials in Canva or similar platforms that align with our brand standards and maintain a consistent look and feel across all customer-facing content. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent written communication skills, graphic design and layout experience, and proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI, or similar technologies. Experience in construction, architecture, engineering, sustainability, energy efficiency, HVAC, solar, roofing, or related industries is highly preferred. We are looking for someone who can not only create content but also help us build a scalable library of educational resources that can be used for lead generation, customer education, online courses, sales support, and recurring revenue products. The right candidate will be highly organized, proactive, creative, and capable of taking an idea from concept to finished product with minimal supervision.
