Technical Drawing & Floor Plan Specialist — Audio Visual & Lighting Production About the role We're an audio visual and lighting production company seeking a skilled technical drawing / CAD professional to produce accurate, detailed floor plans, lighting plots, and stage layouts for our live event, corporate, and production work. This is a remote, ongoing role with strong potential to expand into client-facing quoting and rental scheduling. Core responsibilities • Produce detailed and accurate technical drawings and floor plans for AV and lighting productions (venues, stages, event spaces) • Create lighting plots, rigging plans, and equipment layouts • Build 3D visualizations/pre-visualizations of event spaces and lighting designs • Work from venue dimensions, client briefs, or site surveys to produce production-ready drawings • (Phase 2 / optional expansion) Prepare client quotes for equipment hire using our rental software, Current RMS Required skills & software • AutoCAD — strong working knowledge, able to produce clean, accurate 2D drawings to professional standard • SketchUp — 3D modeling of venues/stages • Capture and/or WYSIWYG — lighting design and pre-visualization software (industry-standard for live events/theatrical lighting) • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret briefs/specs with minimal supervision • Able to work independently and manage own deadlines • English fluency for client-facing communication (written at minimum) Nice to have • Experience with Current RMS or similar equipment rental/hire software • Background or interest in live events, concerts, corporate AV, or theatrical production • Experience producing rigging plans or load calculations What we're offering • [Insert: hourly rate / project rate / retainer] • [Insert: expected hours per week or per project] • Remote work, flexible around [insert core overlap hours with your time zone] • Opportunity to grow into a broader role covering client quoting, ongoing production support How to apply Please share: 1.
