Technical Lead / Full-Stack Developer Needed to Build AI-Enhanced Data Platform

I’m looking for a strong technical person or small team to take full ownership of building a B2B data platform from idea to working product. I will manage the business side, product ideas, branding, sales, and review. I need someone who can handle the technical side properly: planning, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements. The product involves: - Uploading business data - Turning complex data into clean dashboards and reports (we'll be doing this regularly for different type of databases) - Product/category/supplier/staff-level analytics - Event/timeline tracking - AI-assisted input where users can type simple updates and the system turns them into structured data - Comparing business performance before/after changes - Later adding outside factors such as campaigns, local events, weather, etc. - A lot of data comparing and visualisation, extensive use of graphs and charts. Skills needed: - Full-stack SaaS development - Database design - Data engineering / ETL - Dashboards and analytics - AI/API integrations - Secure file upload and data processing - Clean UI/UX - Ability to think through product logic, not just code screens Useful stack experience: - React / Next.js - Python / FastAPI or Node.js - PostgreSQL / Supabase - Metabase, charts, or BI tools - OpenAI/LLM integrations - Data import/export, CSV, legacy databases, or POS-style systems Important: I know that AI tools can now build a large part of the basic app. I am not looking for someone to overcharge me for simple AI-generated screens. I need someone who knows what is easy, what is hard, what should be built with AI tools, and what needs proper engineering. I'll invite your for a live interview before hiring. In the interview, I will explain more about the product and I want to hear how you would approach the build, what risks you see, and what you would build first. I am expecting this to be a serious build, not a $500 website. Timeline: I would like the first planning phase completed within 1–2 weeks. After that, I would like a working MVP/prototype within around 4–8 weeks, depending on the agreed scope.
