Technical Lead for C# Backend Development

Requirements: - The candidate will need to work during USA business hours, EST 9am to 5pm Eastern Standard Time. - This is Full time, 5 days a week Monday to Friday position. Long term. - No agencies, only independent contractors Overview We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to guide and manage a team of software developers in the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in C# and React development, combined with the ability to lead teams, enforce engineering best practices, and deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions on time. Key Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers responsible for backend application development - Design and oversee the architecture of C#/.NET-based backend systems - Ensure code quality through code reviews, standards enforcement, and best practices - Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions - Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and reliability standards - Support production deployments, issue resolution, and continuous improvement efforts - Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and engineering excellence Required Qualifications - 7+ years of professional software development experience, with strong focus on C#/.NET backend development - Proven experience leading or mentoring development teams - Deep understanding of backend architecture, object-oriented design, and design patterns - Strong experience with APIs (REST), database design, and backend integrations - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines - Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies - Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
