Technical Product Engineer (AI Systems)

We are looking to hire a Technical Product Engineer (AI Systems) to help build a secure internal AI operations platform for REIL Capital. (Note: Please do not submit proposals directly to our company, outside of Upwork) The system will combine OpenClaw, n8n automation, and a Unity-based interface into a role-based operating environment that manages lead discovery, enrichment, decisioning, alerts, and workflow execution for our lending business. OpenClaw will serve as the AI reasoning layer (Brain, Overseer, and Code agents), while n8n will handle workflow automation and integrations, and Unity will provide the role-based command interface for staff. The engineer’s role will be to design and implement the platform that connects these systems into a cohesive, secure product. Key responsibilities include: • Configure and extend OpenClaw agents and tool integrations • Design automation workflows and event pipelines in n8n • Build the Unity-based interface and web/mobile interaction layer • Implement role-based access control, approvals, and alert routing • Integrate the system with company software (CRM, email, APIs, data providers) • Ensure secure authentication and auditability across the platform • Turn the system into a reliable internal operating tool for the team Ideal background: • Strong backend engineering experience (Node.js, Python, APIs) • Familiarity with Unity / C# or modern frontend development • Experience integrating AI systems or agent frameworks • Experience with automation tools (n8n or similar) • Experience building internal operational tools or SaaS platforms • Solid understanding of authentication, RBAC, and secure API design This is a systems-level product engineering role, focused on assembling and extending existing technologies into a production platform rather than building everything from scratch.
