Technical Project Manager | FTE - Remote - US

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of software development projects across cross-functional engineering teams. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex technology projects on time and within scope. In this role, you'll work closely with engineering, product, design, QA, and business stakeholders to drive project success, remove roadblocks, and ensure seamless collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end delivery of software development projects from planning through release. - Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies. - Coordinate cross-functional teams including Software Engineering, Product, QA, DevOps, and UX. - Create and maintain project plans, sprint schedules, and status reports. - Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. - Track project progress, identify risks early, and implement mitigation plans. - Communicate project updates and key milestones to stakeholders and leadership. - Work with engineering teams to prioritize work and resolve technical or delivery blockers. - Ensure projects meet quality standards and align with business objectives. - Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and team collaboration. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 5+ years of experience managing software development or technology projects. - Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Experience managing cross-functional technical teams in a remote environment. - Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and modern software architectures. - Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Asana, or Monday.com. - Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Technical background in software engineering, systems engineering, or DevOps. - Experience managing AI/ML, cloud, SaaS, or enterprise software projects. - PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or SAFe certification. - Experience working with distributed engineering teams. - Familiarity with CI/CD, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native application development.
