Technical Project Manager for SaaS Sprints (Zoho), QA Testing, and Client Demos
Worldwide
About the role We need someone to run our development sprints and keep our product work moving. The job has four parts: managing sprints in Zoho, testing what the developers build, demoing our portals to prospects on sales calls, and producing the written and video content that goes out with each release. This is not a pure coordinator role. We already have people who can move tickets around. What we actually need is someone who will sit down, open the portal, try to break it, and tell us when something is not ready to ship. Someone who can then get on a Zoom with a prospect the next day and walk them through that same portal like they built it themselves. What you will actually be doing Running the sprints. You own the sprint cadence in Zoho. You break requirements into tickets with real acceptance criteria, not vague one liners. You run planning, standups, and retros. You know who is blocked and why, and you unblock them or escalate. You track velocity honestly so we can plan the next sprint based on reality instead of optimism. Testing the work. Before anything gets marked done, you have used it. You have clicked through the activation flow, logged in as three different user types, tried the edge cases, and confirmed the fixes actually fix things. You write up defects clearly enough that a developer can reproduce them without a second conversation. Running client demos. When sales has a qualified prospect, you are on the call. You prep the demo environment ahead of time, you know the prospect's use case before you join, and you run a tight presentation that answers the real questions. You are comfortable saying "that is on the roadmap" or "we do not do that today" without derailing the call. Producing release notes and how to content. Every release ships with notes written for the person who has to use the product, not for the person who built it. You record walkthrough videos for the portals so resellers and customers can self serve. You work with the design team on the visual side, one pagers, feature announcements, slide updates. Who you are You have run sprints before, in Zoho, Jira, Linear, or something similar. You have tested software, formally or informally, and you enjoy that part of the job instead of resenting it. You can write a clear paragraph. You can get on a call with a stranger and run a demo without sounding nervous or rehearsed. You are comfortable in a small company where the lines between roles are blurry. Some weeks you will be deep in tickets. Other weeks you will be recording video tutorials or rebuilding a demo script. You do not need a product manager, a QA lead, and a sales engineer to do this job. You are all three. Nice to have Telecom or connectivity background. Experience with customer activation flows and reseller portals. Video production comfort (Loom, Camtasia, or similar there are plenty of tools online to help with this and we are happy to subscribe to). Any exposure to Zoho beyond Projects, since we use the broader suite. How we will know this is working Sprints close on time and the scope we committed to is actually what shipped. Production bugs go down because you caught them first. Sales starts asking for you on calls because prospects convert better when you are there. Release notes go out the same day the release goes out, not a week later. The how to library grows every month. Reporting Reports to leadership. Works daily with engineering teams, with the design team on release materials, and with sales on demo support. Good English is a MUST.
