Technical Project Manager for AI Voice Agent Projects Summary We’re hiring a client-facing Technical Project Manager to take qualified AI voice-agent opportunities from scoping through delivery. You’ll lead client scoping calls, manage client communication, turn requirements into a clear project scope, and coordinate our developers and AI agent builders on implementation, estimates, timelines, testing, and launch. We already receive more opportunities through referrals and word of mouth than we can comfortably handle, without doing any active client acquisition. Our goal is to build the delivery capacity to onboard one new client per week, and this role will be central to making that possible. ➤ THE SETUP * The founder handles initial demos, pricing, proposals, and closing * You take over when a qualified prospect is ready to scope a potential build * You become the main link between the client, developer, and AI agent builder * We will begin with a paid trial project * If the trial goes well, this can become a long-term, potentially full-time contractor role ➤ WHAT YOU’LL DO * Lead client scoping calls and manage follow-up communication * Understand and document the client’s current workflows and desired outcomes * Clarify requirements, integrations, edge cases, constraints, and open questions * Complete and maintain our requirements traceability matrix * Work with developers and AI agent builders to determine feasibility, implementation approach, effort, dependencies, and timeline * Turn the agreed requirements into a clear project scope and delivery plan * Coordinate responsibilities, estimates, timelines, and deliverables * Keep the client and technical team aligned throughout the project * Track decisions, blockers, risks, and scope changes * Manage testing, client feedback, revisions, and launch * Make sure everyone knows what has been agreed and what needs to happen next You will not be expected to make every technical decision alone or personally build the solution. Your responsibility is to involve the right specialists, ask the right questions, resolve ambiguity, and ensure the project is properly scoped and delivered. ➤ WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR You should have experience managing technical, software, automation, or implementation projects involving both clients and technical teams. You should be: * Confident leading client calls and handling professional email communication * Able to turn vague client requests into structured requirements * Technically fluent enough to communicate effectively with developers * Comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, CRMs, data flows, automation, telephony, and software workflows * Highly organised, reliable, and proactive * Skilled at identifying missing information and asking precise follow-up questions * Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders * Capable of taking ownership without constant direction * Focused on successful delivery, not simply updating project-management software Software-development or hands-on technical experience is strongly preferred, but this is primarily a project management, scoping, and client communication role. Experience with AI voice agents, conversational AI, telephony, CRM integrations, workflow automation, or custom software projects is valuable but not required. ➤ WHO THIS IS NOT FOR This role will not be a match if you: * Only manage timelines after someone else has fully defined the project * Avoid direct client communication * Expect developers to identify every missing requirement * Prefer a purely administrative project-management role * Wait to be told every next step * Allow unclear requirements or unanswered questions to remain unresolved ➤ PAID TRIAL We will begin with a paid trial involving a real client project. You will review the available information, identify what is missing, coordinate with the technical team, and help produce a clear scope, estimate, and delivery plan. If the trial goes well, the role can expand into an ongoing engagement managing multiple AI voice-agent projects each month. ➤ HOW TO APPLY Please send: 1.
