Technical Project Planner & Strong Project Manager (Notion, AI Workflows & AI Enhanced Products )
Worldwide
Role Overview We are looking for a Senior-level Technical Project Planner / Coding & Automation Team Project Manager who can take strategic objectives and convert them into structured, executable technical project plans. This role acts as the architect of technical development, automation and execution. You will document the project structure before work begins, ensuring all Project Managers and teams operate on a clear and well‑defined plan. All projects are structured in Notion, which serves as the organization’s central operational system. Your work will typically include preparing: project structure deliverables task architecture dependencies milestones risk considerations execution logic Tech Project Manager — Technical Team Coordination About This Role We're a creative consultancy and AI agency with an active technical team based in Pakistan (GHL automation, AI tooling, Notion integrations, workflow builds). We need a Tech Project Manager to be the coordination layer between this technical team and the rest of the organization — translating business priorities into actionable tasks, keeping builds on track, and making sure nothing gets lost between the US-based leadership and the Pakistan-based execution team. East Coast hours (9 AM–7 PM ET) are required — this gives you overlap with both US stakeholders in the morning and the Pakistan team in the afternoon/evening. A Pakistani candidate with direct cultural familiarity with the team is strongly preferred, though not a hard requirement. You report to the PM Team Manager. Your job is to make technical work visible, accountable, and connected to business outcomes. --- What You're Responsible For Technical Project Coordination - Own day-to-day task management for the Pakistan tech team — assign work, track progress, surface blockers - Translate business requirements from leadership into clear, actionable technical tasks - Maintain the tech team's project dashboards in Notion — status, sprint backlogs, blockers, dependencies - Flag risks and delays before they become problems — escalate with a recommended path forward, not just a description of the issue Cross-Team Communication - Bridge communication between the US-based leadership (James, Itzel) and the Pakistan technical team (Taha, Mahum, Hifza) - Write clear update summaries after each sprint or milestone that both technical and non-technical stakeholders can understand - Run async status check-ins — this team does not work synchronously; your coordination must work across time zones Systems and Tools - Work inside our Notion-based project management system from day one - Get comfortable with our AI tooling (Claude, Claude Code, Claude Co-Work) — you will coordinate work involving these tools and need to understand what they do - Document the technical team's processes and recurring workflows so knowledge is not locked in people's heads --- What This Is Not This is not a software development role. You are not the one writing code (although you can step in and help, if needed). You are not making architectural decisions. You are the operational layer that makes sure the people doing technical work have clear priorities, unblocked paths, and visible accountability to leadership. --- Required Experience Technical team coordination — You have coordinated a software development, automation, or technical services team. You understand sprint cycles, task assignment, and how to manage work that involves dependencies between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Remote, distributed team management — You have coordinated across geographies and time zones. You know how to keep a distributed team accountable without micromanaging. Notion project management tools** — You have tracked technical work in Notion. You understand how to set up and maintain a task database that a whole team relies on. Clear written communication in English — You write status updates that both engineers and executives can read. Your communication is precise — you do not over-explain or under-specify. AI tool proficiency or genuine openness to learning — We are an AI-native organization. Comfort with Claude, AI-assisted tooling, and structured automation workflows is a significant advantage. If you have not worked with these tools yet, you must demonstrate that you learn systems quickly and follow documented processes carefully. --- Nice to Have - Pakistani background and familiarity with working alongside Pakistan-based technical teams — cultural familiarity is genuinely valuable here - Bilingual with English & Spanish Language also preferred - Time zones in the Americas - Experience with GoHighLevel automation, Notion MCP, or AI workflow tools - Familiarity with Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI tools in a workflow context (not just casual use — actual integration into work processes) - Experience coordinating across Upwork-based contractor relationships - Prior work with a creative agency, AI company, or digital consultancy --- Project Details - **Type:** Part-time to full-time ongoing contract - **Rate:** $12–15/hr depending on experience - **Location:** Pakistan strongly preferred — Latin America also Preferred timezone and cultural familiarity with the tech team are genuine advantages - **Hours:** East Coast hours required - West Coast Hourse Preferred— 9 AM–7 PM ET (EST/EDT). This provides overlap with both US stakeholders and the Pakistan team. If your timezone does not align, please do not apply. - **Communication:** Daily async updates. Weekly structured check-in with leadership. - **Reports to:** PM Team Manager --- How to Apply In your proposal, please answer all three questions. **Proposals that skip any question will not be considered.** 1. **Technical team you coordinated.** Describe a specific situation where you managed work across a technical or development team. What was the project, how many people were involved, what tools did you use to track it, and what happened when something got blocked? 2. **Cross-timezone coordination.** Tell us about a time you managed communication between people in significantly different time zones. What was your system? What broke down, and how did you fix it? 3. **AI tools.** Have you worked with Claude, ChatGPT, or any AI tool as part of a workflow — not just to answer questions, but integrated into how work gets done? Describe what you did. If you have not used AI tools in a work process before, say so directly and explain what makes you confident you'll adapt quickly. --- About Us codeswitcher is a creative consultancy and AI agency. We are building an AI-integrated operating system for how we run our business — and the Pakistan technical team is building core pieces of that system. This PM role is the bridge that keeps that work connected to business priorities. We move fast, we document everything, and we need someone who can hold the structure between our technical execution and our strategic direction.
