Technical Recruiter (US Developers | LinkedIn Sourcing)

Overview We are a US-based startup hiring an experienced Technical Recruiter to source and screen US-based software engineers across all technology stacks. Our focus is on experienced developers in the US who previously earned $50K+ on Upwork, but are not currently active freelancers, and may be open to select side or additional income opportunities. All sourcing will be done via LinkedIn. Key Responsibilities • Source US-based software engineers using LinkedIn • Identify developers across all major stacks (backend, frontend, full-stack, AI, data, DevOps, etc.) • Target candidates who: o Have $50K+ total earnings on Upwork (past or verified profile history) o Are not actively freelancing full-time on Upwork today o May be open to flexible side-income opportunities • Review candidate background and professional credibility • Conduct a brief initial screening (experience + communication) • Share qualified candidate profiles in a structured format Requirements • Proven experience recruiting software engineers / technical roles • Strong LinkedIn sourcing experience (required) • Ability to identify Upwork profiles and verify earnings history • Understanding of modern software engineering roles and stacks • Clear and professional communication • Organized and consistent reporting • Able to work with US time-zone overlap Work Terms: • Upwork Time Tracker required (no manual time allowed) • After Upwork offer, must be able to communicate and collaborate via Slack • Daily progress updates via Google Sheet Ideal Recruiter Profile • Has sourced US-based engineers before • Comfortable reaching out to working developers • Understands how to position side-income opportunities attractively • Focused on quality over volume
