Technical SEO & GEO Architect for Shopify Plus (Large Catalog / 200k+ SKUs)

Organic search is our most valuable channel, but our organic growth has plateaued for the past 6 months. We are one of the leading Greek e-commerce brands in the Home, Furniture & B2B space, operating on Shopify Plus with a catalog of over 200,000 SKUs. Here is our current reality: → Search visitors are our highest-intent traffic (2x higher conversion rate than any paid channel). → Organic traffic has been completely flat for 6 months. → Recent revenue growth came from on-site CRO improvements, not SEO. → Huge catalog bloat: We have thousands of low-value, duplicate, or filter/tag URLs wasting our crawl budget. → Zero GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategy: AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) currently have inaccurate or incomplete data about our brand entities. We have already performed an initial internal diagnostic. We will not reveal our findings how you audit and interpret our store is the actual interview. What the role is: A monthly retainer. You own technical architecture, index health, and GEO end-to-end: * Index Cleanup & Crawl Budget: Solve index bloat, fix canonicalization, optimize faceted navigation/filters, and streamline robots.txt. * Catalog Architecture: Ensure our high-margin hero categories and top SKUs receive priority crawling and internal link equity. * GEO (Generative Engine Optimization): Build structured data (JSON-LD Schema for Products, Organizations, ItemLists, FAQs) and entity optimization so AI search engines cite us accurately. * Content & Blog Optimization: Provide actionable technical frameworks for internal linking and content clustering (our team handles local Greek copywriting). * Revenue-First Reporting: Focus strictly on Non-Brand Clicks, Organic Revenue, Crawl Efficiency, and AI Visibility. What we're looking for: * Proven track record with large-catalog e-commerce stores (50k+ to 200k+ SKUs). * Deep technical mastery of Shopify / Shopify Plus and its native SEO limitations. * Hands-on experience with GEO / Entity optimization for AI models. * You tell us directly when our assumptions or previous setups are wrong. What we're not looking for: * "Guaranteed #1 rankings in 30 days." * Generic link-building packages (e.g., "X guest posts/month"). * Agencies where senior leadership pitches and a junior does the actual work. * Anyone who claims AI search visibility is "just standard old SEO."
