Summary

I am are looking for an experienced technical specialist to audit, fix and properly configure the indexation, crawlability, tracking and Google fix integrations of our e-commerce website: https://gripsmx.com Our site is a WordPress / WooCommerce store built with Elementor and the Merto theme/template. The domain is connected through Cloudflare, and we also have access to cPanel/hosting. This project is strictly technical.T he priority is to make sure the website is technically crawlable, indexable, correctly connected to Google platforms and protected from fake/bot traffic without blocking Googlebot or other legitimate crawlers. Current situation: * The website still does not appear properly in Google search results, even when searching for the brand, products, categories or specific pages. * We have already made some internal checks and adjustments in Cloudflare and cPanel. * We have reviewed some basic DNS/domain settings internally. * We detected a high amount of fake/bot traffic from countries that are not relevant to our business. * This fake traffic inflated our website analytics and made traffic data unreliable. * We attempted to reduce irrelevant traffic through Cloudflare. * We need to confirm that Googlebot, Google Merchant Center and other legitimate Google crawlers are not being blocked by mistake. * We need to validate that Google Search Console, GA4, Google Tag Manager and Google Merchant Center are correctly connected and configured for an e-commerce website. Website setup: * WooCommerce * Elementor * Merto theme/template * Cloudflare * cPanel/hosting access * Google Search Console * Google Analytics 4 * Google Tag Manager * Google Merchant Center Scope of work: 1. Google Search Console / Indexation * Verify correct domain property setup in Google Search Console. * Review indexing status and coverage issues. * Inspect key URLs manually in Google Search Console. * Confirm that the homepage, product pages, category pages, blog posts and main commercial pages are crawlable and indexable. * Identify why the site is not appearing properly in Google. * Submit or resubmit the correct sitemap if needed. * Request indexing for priority pages after fixes. 2. Sitemap and robots.txt * Validate XML sitemap configuration. * Confirm WooCommerce products, categories, posts and pages are included correctly. * Review robots.txt and correct any blocking directives. * Confirm that Googlebot and Google Merchant Center crawlers can access the required pages. * Check whether unnecessary URLs, filters or duplicate pages should be excluded. 3. Index / noindex and canonical tags * Review index/noindex settings across WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor templates and SEO plugin settings. * Review canonical tags for homepage, products, categories, blog posts and filtered pages. * Identify and fix incorrect canonical URLs. * Prevent duplicate or low-value filtered URLs from creating indexation problems. 4. WooCommerce crawlability * Confirm that product pages are crawlable and indexable. * Confirm that product categories are crawlable and indexable. * Review WooCommerce product schema basics. * Review category structure from a technical indexation perspective. * Confirm that AJAX filters or search filters are not generating crawl/indexation problems. * Confirm that important product/category URLs are not blocked by Cloudflare, robots.txt, noindex or canonical issues. 5. Google Merchant Center * Review Google Merchant Center connection. * Confirm that product data/feed can be read correctly. * Check for crawl, landing page, product URL or feed-related issues. * Confirm that Google Merchant Center crawlers are not blocked by Cloudflare or robots.txt. * Review whether WooCommerce products are eligible to be processed correctly by Merchant Center. 6. Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager *It is already set up, but need to validate GA4 installation. * Validate Google Tag Manager installation. * Confirm that tags are firing correctly. * Check for duplicate GA4 or GTM installations. * Review basic e-commerce tracking setup. * Confirm that traffic data is being measured as accurately as possible. * Recommend how to filter or reduce fake/bot traffic without affecting legitimate users or Google crawlers. 7. Cloudflare and hosting/cPanel * Review Cloudflare DNS configuration. * Review SSL/TLS configuration. * Review cache settings. * Review firewall rules. * Review bot protection/security settings. * Review redirects at Cloudflare, WordPress and cPanel level. * Confirm that Cloudflare is not blocking Googlebot, Google Merchant Center or other legitimate Google services. * Confirm that the domain, hosting/cPanel, WordPress and Cloudflare are correctly connected. 8. Redirects, errors and technical blocks * Review 301/302 redirects. * Identify redirect loops or incorrect redirects. * Review 404 errors and broken important URLs. * Review blocked resources. * Review mixed content or SSL issues if present. * Confirm that the site resolves correctly with and without www, and with HTTPS. 9. Bot/fake traffic review * Review the fake/bot traffic issue we detected. * Identify whether Cloudflare rules are correctly set. * Recommend safe filtering rules for non-relevant countries or suspicious traffic. * Make sure those rules do not block Googlebot, Merchant Center crawlers, GA4, GTM or legitimate users. 10. Final deliverables * Implement the necessary fixes directly. * Provide a clear summary of what was reviewed. * Provide a list of all changes made. * Explain what was causing the indexation or tracking issue. * Confirm which Google tools are correctly connected after the work. * Confirm which pages/products/categories were tested. * Provide screenshots or evidence from Google Search Console, GA4, GTM, Merchant Center and Cloudflare where relevant. * Provide next-step recommendations for the later SEO/content phase.
