# Technical SEO Specialist — Search Traffic Recovery (Programmatic Site) We run an AI-tools comparison site (Next.js, ~2,300 programmatic pages). Our organic traffic grew steadily for months, then dropped ~95% almost overnight in early July and has stayed flat since. We need a technical SEO expert to diagnose the cause and direct the recovery. ## What we're seeing in GSC - Traffic climbed to ~20k daily impressions, then fell to near-zero on ~July 2 (sharp vertical drop, flat since) - ~1,500 pages now showing under "Not found (404)" - Only ~25% of pages indexed (~887 of ~3,500); ~774 "Discovered – currently not indexed" - Manual Actions and Security Issues: both clean (no penalty) ## Scope - Diagnose the root cause of the drop - Define the correct per-URL recovery strategy and sequence it by impact - Sitemap cleanup and indexing/crawl fixes - Recommend guardrails to prevent recurrence We have developers to implement — we need your diagnosis, strategy, and clear direction. ## Must have Proven technical SEO + traffic-drop recovery experience, programmatic/large-scale SEO, deep GSC skills, strong grasp of HTTP status codes and indexing.
