Technical SEO Specialist — Shopify Store (Schema, Tracking, On-Page, SEMrush)

We're a health and performance brand on Shopify (recovery, hydration, strength products). Our store is live but new, with low organic traffic. We've already built a detailed SEO plan in-house — so we're not looking for someone to create strategy. We need a reliable, technically strong specialist to execute a documented plan we'll hand you, report clearly each week, and flag anything that needs a developer. You bring the execution and tool skills. We provide the plan, the keyword list, the standards, and developer support for anything that touches theme code. What you'll deliver 1. Technical foundation & baseline Confirm indexation in Google Search Console, check for coverage errors, verify the XML sitemap and robots.txt, run a Core Web Vitals / page-speed check on key pages, set up rank tracking in SEMrush for ~13 keywords, and capture a baseline snapshot (impressions, clicks, average position, indexed pages). 2. Structured data / schema Write the JSON-LD we need — Product + Offer, AggregateRating (we use Judge.me for reviews), FAQPage, Organization, BreadcrumbList — clearly enough for our developer to implement, then validate it via Google's Rich Results Test. Goal: star ratings and FAQ snippets in search. 3. On-page implementation (Shopify admin) Apply fixes from our list: image alt text, product copy, meta titles/descriptions to our format, and internal links between pages. Flag anything requiring theme code to us. 4. Competitor gap analysis (SEMrush) Run a keyword gap analysis against three competitors we'll name. Deliver a prioritized list of keywords they rank for that we don't, sorted by volume and difficulty. Out of scope (handled by our team) Blog/content writing — done in-house. Theme/code development — our developer implements; you spec and validate. Strategy and final prioritization — we own these; you execute and advise. Important We operate in a regulated health/supplement niche (including a topical CBD product), so E-E-A-T and accurate, claim-aware work matter here. Experience with health, supplement, wellness, or CBD SEO is strongly preferred. Clear written English is required — you'll be writing specs and reports we act on. How we work We'll give you the full plan, keyword list, competitor names, and tool access. We start with a small paid trial task so we can see your work before committing to the full scope. If it goes well, we start the same week.
