Technical Sourcer (Contract) · "Sourcing Wizard" Source Engineering & Product Talent for an AI Startup **About the work** We're Augment, an AI company transforming the $9T logistics industry. We grew from 5 to ~175 people in about a year and we're still hiring fast across Engineering and Product. We need a sourcing specialist who can build deep, qualified pipelines from scratch — passive talent, hard-to-find profiles, the people who aren't applying anywhere. This is a sourcing-focused contract. You won't run interviews or close offers — your job is to find the right people and get them interested enough to take a first call. **What you'll do** - Build and run sourcing campaigns for technical roles (back-end, infra, ML, integrations, product). - Write outreach that gets replies — personalized, sharp, not templated spam. - Hand off warm, qualified candidates to our recruiting team with clean notes. - Map talent markets and competitors so we know where the best people actually are. - Work in our stack (ATS + AI sourcing tools); we'll get you set up fast. **What we're looking for** - A proven sourcing wizard. You can find people others can't, and your reply rates prove it. - You decode a very specific candidate profile fast, then source in unfamiliar industries by learning the landscape — who the players are, where the talent actually sits, and what moves them. - Sharp on AI, our competitors, and the news. Our work is technically niche; you ramp on a new space quickly and can talk about it credibly. Even if you're parroting at first, you know your stuff and it shows in your outreach. - Strong Boolean / X-ray / LinkedIn Recruiter skills; bonus for Gem, Juicebox, or similar. - Experience sourcing technical/engineering talent at a high-growth tech company or startup. - Self-directed, fast, and comfortable with ambiguity. **Logistics** - Contract via Upwork - up to 30 hrs/week to start -1 month to start, long-term extendable on results. - Fully remote, any country.
