Technical Writer & Technical Illustrator (English)

We are looking to expand our pool of freelance technical professionals to support a growing portfolio of technical documentation projects. Technical Writer We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to help create and maintain high-quality technical manuals and user documentation for a leading international manufacturer. The work primarily involves developing clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation in English for technical products. As project volumes continue to grow, we are looking for at least one additional writer who can work alongside our existing team and support ongoing documentation needs. Requirements Excellent written English skills (native or near-native level) Proven experience in technical writing, preferably for consumer products, industrial products, engineering, manufacturing, or similar sectors Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear user documentation Strong attention to detail and consistency Ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders Nice to Have Dutch language skills are a plus Experience working with companies in the Benelux region Experience with structured authoring, technical documentation tools, or content management systems Technical Illustrator In parallel, we are also looking for Technical Illustrators who can create clear and professional technical drawings, exploded views, assembly instructions, and visual documentation to accompany technical manuals. This role may be combined with the Technical Writer position if you possess both skill sets, but we are equally open to working with separate specialists.
