Technical Writer-Re-author Engineering Paper for SAE Peer-Reviewed Submission (Human Only + NDA)

We’re a small engineering R&D company preparing a peer-reviewed technical paper for submission to SAE International, and we’re looking for an experienced technical/scientific writer to re-author it. The work: You’ll write an original ~7,000–9,000-word technical paper from a verified source-fact package we provide (corpus data, figures, an outline of the claims, and reference materials). The subject is a measurement methodology in heavy-duty diesel engineering — deriving fuel consumption from exhaust emissions. You don’t need to generate any science or data; that work is complete and validated. Your job is to turn a locked set of facts into clear, rigorous, publication-quality prose in SAE format. Hard requirements • 100% original, human-authored writing. AI-generated or AI-assisted drafting (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) is strictly prohibited. Deliverables will be screened with AI-detection and research-integrity review, and the contract includes a human-authorship warranty. If you can’t or won’t work this way, please don’t apply. • Demonstrated experience authoring peer-reviewed or technical engineering/scientific papers (portfolio or writing samples required). • Absolute fidelity to source facts — you must not alter, round, or “improve” any figure; every number traces to our data package. • Willingness to sign an NDA and a work-for-hire / IP-assignment agreement before receiving any materials.
