Terrain Generation Artist

We are looking for a terrain artist to expand existing top down, low relief terrain for a strategy game. We will provide small sample terrain, matching grayscale heightmaps, color terrain, and art direction. Your job is to expand these into approximately 3200 × 3200 pixel terrain sectors while preserving the same lighting, terrain style, mountain formations, lakes, forests, and overall appearance. The new terrain should feel like a natural continuation of the original. The grayscale heightmap is the source of truth. The finished color terrain must remain pixel perfect with the grayscale. Speed is more important than final polish. We are building a rapid prototyping pipeline and expect multiple iterations as we establish our terrain library. Experience with Photoshop, GIMP, Gaea, Gaia, World Machine, World Creator, Houdini, Blender, Substance 3D Designer, or similar terrain tools is strongly preferred.
