QA Tester Needed for Web App Testing
Worldwide
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA tester to perform black-box / end-user testing on two connected products. The ideal tester should be comfortable testing a product as a real user would, while also being technical enough to provide high-quality bug reports with useful diagnostic details. We do not just want reports like “this button doesn’t work.” We want clear, organized findings that help us understand what happened, how to reproduce it, how severe it is, and, when possible, what part of the system may be involved. Responsibilities - Perform exploratory QA testing as an end user across key product flows - Test UI/UX behavior, edge cases, form validation, loading states, error states, and broken flows - Identify bugs, confusing interactions, inconsistencies, and regressions - Organize findings by feature area, severity, and type of issue - Provide detailed bug reports with: - Clear title - Steps to reproduce - Expected result - Actual result - Screenshots or screen recordings - Browser/device/OS information - Console errors, network errors, or API errors when relevant - Severity/priority recommendation Use browser DevTools when useful to inspect console errors, failed requests, status codes, payloads, and endpoint names Help distinguish frontend/UI issues from possible backend/API issues when evidence supports it. Ideal Skills - Experience with black-box testing, exploratory testing, and regression testing - Strong written communication and bug reporting skills - Ability to group related issues instead of submitting duplicate or vague reports - Comfortable using Chrome DevTools or similar tools - Able to capture useful technical context such as:Failed API endpoint - HTTP status code - Console stack trace - Network request/response details - Reproduction conditions - Experience testing SaaS apps, AI/chat products, dashboards, onboarding flows, reports, or assessment/personality-style products is a plus. Deliverables We would like a structured QA report that includes: - Summary of tested areas - List of bugs grouped by feature or workflow - Severity rating for each issue - Reproduction steps for each bug - Screenshots/videos (only if applicable) - Technical notes from DevTools when relevant - Suggestions for areas that need deeper testing or regression coverage. Deliverable should be sent as a Google Doc link. To Apply Please include: - Examples of previous QA reports or bug tickets you have written - Your experience with exploratory testing and web app QA - Whether you are comfortable using browser DevTools
