QA Tester (React · Node.js · PostgreSQL)

About the Role We're building a new application and growing our team. We're looking for a QA tester to help us ship a reliable, high-quality product. You'll work closely with our developers to test features across the stack — a React front end, a Node.js back end, and a PostgreSQL database — and help us catch issues before our users do. This is a hands-on role on a small, growing team, where your work will directly shape the quality of what we build. What You'll Do Design, write, and execute test plans and test cases for new and existing features Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing across the application Test APIs and verify data integrity in PostgreSQL Report, track, and help prioritize bugs with clear, reproducible detail Collaborate closely with developers to improve overall quality and process Requirements Demonstrated experience in software testing or QA Familiarity with testing web applications built on React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL Experience writing clear test cases and detailed bug reports Comfort with SQL for verifying data and reproducing issues Links to work you've contributed to. Nice to Have Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium) Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) Our team works with Claude Code. General QA experience is what we're looking for first, but hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code or Codex is a plus.
