QA Tester for Web App UI/UX & Workflow Automations (Trial → Ongoing Sprint)
Worldwide
We're looking for a detail-oriented manual QA tester to test our internal web apps and workflow automations during an active build sprint. This is hands-on testing — running through flows, comparing behavior, catching edge cases, and writing clear bug reports. It is not a coding role. Work starts with a small paid trial. If it goes well, it expands into ongoing testing as we build each phase. Maybe 20hrs a week and then more than that if it goes really well. What you'll test, in phases: App parity — we've rebuilt an internal web app and need its UI and functionality verified against the original, feature by feature. You'll run the same flows in both live apps and flag any gaps, mismatches, or broken behavior. Workflow automations — testing end to end against expected behavior, using sample data. Responsibilities: Run assigned flows and verify they behave as intended Compare the rebuilt app against the original, feature by feature Try edge cases and realistic ways to break each flow Log discrepancies clearly: expected vs. actual, steps to reproduce Write structured bug reports with screenshots or short screen recordings Help build repeatable QA checklists for re-testing Required: Strong attention to detail Experience manually testing software or web apps (functional and UI/UX) Clear, structured bug reporting Comfortable with tools like Notion, Google Docs, Loom, Linear, or GitHub Issues Good judgment around confidentiality and test data Nice to have: Regression or parity testing (verifying one system matches another) Familiarity with browser-based workflow automations Comfort checking AI-generated output for correctness
