QA Tester for Web-Based Trading Simulation App

I'm looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to test a web-based stock/forex trading simulation app (backend API + responsive web frontend). The app is being built by a developer, and I need someone independent to verify that everything works correctly before releasing each payment milestone. What you'll test (4 milestones): Auth & Security – Register, login, email verification, 2FA (TOTP), secure cookies. Trading Engine & Dashboard – Real-time prices via WebSocket, placing mock buy/sell trades, PnL updates, portfolio/positions, geoblocking (must block US/CN/UK/EU/AE IPs – test with VPN). Signal & Risk Logic – Signal engine filters, risk limits (e.g., 5% daily loss block, 1% per-trade), loss-streak cooldown, in-app notifications, legal disclaimer popups, GDPR (export/delete data). Deployment – Live site loads, HTTPS enforced, stability under stress, no critical errors in logs. What I need from you: Test each milestone against the acceptance criteria I'll provide (clear checklist for every milestone). Test on both mobile and desktop browsers. Give me a simple Pass / Fail report for each item, with screenshots or short screen recordings of any bugs. Note steps to reproduce any issue so the developer can fix it. Nice to have: Experience testing fintech / trading / finance apps. Basic security testing (VPN/IP testing, checking cookies & headers). Understanding of trading basics (PnL, stop-loss, leverage) is a big plus. Important: This must be an independent role.
