QA Tester needed for manual testing

We build a field reporting app used daily by construction and service crews. It runs as a web app and installable PWA, works fully offline, and syncs to the server when connectivity returns. We need a diligent manual QA tester to help us catch bugs before our customers do. What you’ll do • Set up and execute test scenarios for new features and fixes across web and mobile/PWA • Test real-world conditions: offline mode, slow connections, multi-device editing, stale cache vs. fresh server data • Document bugs in Linear with clear repro steps, expected vs. actual behavior, and screen recordings • Verify fixes on staging before release, and re-verify in production • Use DevTools to inspect API requests and console errors; check database records when needed to confirm what was actually saved What we’re looking for • 2+ years of manual QA experience on web apps; comfortable reading API requests/responses and running basic database queries • Experience testing offline or sync-heavy apps is a big plus • Excellent written English — bug reports a developer can reproduce on the first try • Thorough and skeptical: you actively try to break things, not just confirm the happy path • Access to a desktop and a mobile device (iPhone preferred) Ongoing, roughly 5–15 hrs/week, async via Linear and Slack.
