Texas P.E. Needed to Design Solar Power System for Access-Controlled Gates

Job Description: We are seeking a Texas-licensed Professional Engineer to calculate, size, and design a standalone solar power system for access-controlled slide gates. The design must cover two gate configurations: Single Slide Gate One 20-foot slide gate Approximate weight: 10,300 lbs One DoorKing 9555 gate operator One access control panel Double Slide Gate Two 20-foot slide gates creating a 40-foot total opening Approximate combined weight: 20,600 lbs Gates open from the center toward each side Two DoorKing 9555 operators, one per gate Access control equipment Each system must support a minimum of 24 complete gate cycles per day. Additional loads include: One emergency light at the electrical equipment location, controlled by a timer switch One 120V convenience receptacle The required electrical output is three-phase, 120/208V. Required Deliverables: Complete load and energy-consumption calculations Solar-panel array sizing Battery-bank sizing Three-phase inverter/charger selection and sizing Charge controller and balance-of-system sizing Electrical one-line diagram Equipment schedule and recommended bill of materials Design assumptions, operating calculations, and estimated system autonomy Texas P.E.-sealed calculations and drawings Reasonable revisions based on owner or design-team comments Applicants must be currently licensed as a Professional Engineer in Texas and have experience designing off-grid solar, battery-storage, and three-phase electrical systems.
