The Law Offices of CJ Baptiste - Part-Time Paralegal Position Location: Remote / Los Angeles, CA Position Type: Part-Time (5–7 hours per week) The Law Offices of CJ Baptiste is a growing, client-focused law firm specializing in tax resolution, estate planning, business law, and debt collection defense. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Paralegal to support our team with ongoing client matters and administrative legal tasks. Key Responsibilities Draft legal documents, including letters, forms, and agreements Assist with IRS and state tax matters (forms, follow-ups, case tracking) Support preparation of estate planning documents (trusts, wills, amendments) Conduct client follow-ups and provide updates Maintain and update case files and deadlines Communicate professionally with clients and third parties Qualifications Prior paralegal experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently Experience with tax or estate planning matters is a plus What We’re Looking For Highly organized and responsive Strong attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and report back clearly Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment Schedule Approximately 5–7 hours per week Flexible scheduling, with some availability during business hours preferred Compensation Hourly rate based on experience
