Thumbnail Concept Maker

We’re looking for a Thumbnail Concept Maker to help us improve click-through rate (CTR) across our YouTube channels. This is not a design role. You will not create thumbnails — you will define exactly what the thumbnail should be. What You’ll Do: → Turn video topics into high-converting thumbnail concepts → Identify the core emotional hook that drives clicks → Select the exact image to be used (source/reference) → Create a clear storyboard/layout direction → Provide detailed edit instructions (crop, color, lighting, composition) → Work closely with designers who will execute your vision What We’re Looking For: → Strong understanding of YouTube thumbnails and viewer psychology → Ability to create curiosity gaps (not explain the story) → Experience with YouTube content, thumbnails, or viral media → Clear thinking — you can simplify ideas into one strong visual moment → Able to research what’s working and apply it effectively Nice to have: → Experience in true crime, horror, documentary, or iceberg-style content → Familiarity with CTR, A/B testing, or YouTube analytics Compensation $30–35/approved idea OR Estimated monthly earnings: $1,000–$2,000 or higher based on approved output and performance If you understand how to turn a topic into a thumbnail people feel compelled to click, we’d love to hear from you.
