Thumbnail Designer Needed – Faceless YouTube Channel (Self-Sufficiency & DIY)

Here’s the short version: I’m a mom of two who got tired of how complicated and expensive basic self-sufficiency has become — and turned that frustration into a YouTube channel. The content is about reclaiming independence: passive energy systems, DIY engineering, and forgotten techniques that give families real options. It’s serious, well-researched content — and it deserves thumbnails that do it justice. The niche is DIY engineering, alternative energy, and practical self-sufficiency. The tone is credible and educational, not hype-driven. But credibility alone doesn’t get clicks — that’s where you come in. **The visual style:** High-impact and immediately readable. Think bold, oversized typography — two to four words max — in yellow or white with strong contrast. Cinematic backgrounds with a warm palette: oranges, golds, and yellows against a blue sky. A directional arrow on the key subject, and a single emotional hook per thumbnail — a striking number, a bold claim, or a one-word provocation. **Deliverables per thumbnail:** - Compelling hero visual tied to the video topic - Short, punchy title text (3–4 words maximum) - Consistent look and feel across the entire channel - Mobile and desktop optimized - 1280x720 PNG format **Copyright & YouTube Thumbnail Policy — this is important:** You must know and follow YouTube’s thumbnail guidelines and copyright policies without exception.
