TikTok & Short-Form Content Creator
Worldwide
TikTok & Short-Form Content Creator Part-Time | Remote | 15–20 Hours/Week | Paid 30-Day Trial We’re building a consumer AI app that helps women figure out what to do next when they’re dealing with decisions around money, work, business, or life. The product is already live. Now we’re focused on getting more people to discover it, try it, and become paying users. We’re looking for someone who really understands TikTok, Reels, short-form content, and internet culture. This is NOT a traditional corporate social media role. We are not looking for someone whose main skill is making branded graphics, Canva templates, or polished ads. We want someone who understands what people actually want to watch. The Content Style We’re Looking For We want content that feels natural, authentic, personality-driven, and made for social media. Think: • Talking-to-camera videos • Storytelling • UGC-style content • Real conversations • Relatable situations • Strong opinions and observations • Creator-style videos • Simple videos with great hooks • Content that feels human instead of overly produced Sometimes the best video might literally be someone sitting on their couch talking to their phone. That’s okay. We care much more about the idea, hook, story, personality, and authenticity than fancy graphics or perfect production. If your instinct is to make everything polished, branded, and corporate, this probably isn’t the right job. If you understand why a natural TikTok filmed on someone’s phone can outperform a beautifully produced brand video, we want to talk to you. What You’ll Do Find Content Ideas Spend time on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, comments, and other places our audience spends time. Look for: • Topics people are talking about • Questions people keep asking • Interesting stories • Trends we could use • Hooks that are working • Video formats worth testing • Great creator content • Conversations we could turn into videos We don’t want you to copy other creators. We want you to understand what’s working and why. Turn Ideas Into Videos You’ll help create short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. You’ll create: • Video concepts • Hooks • Short scripts • Story ideas • Captions • Calls to action • Dialogue for our AI character • Reference videos/examples for our editor You do not need to edit every video yourself. We already have someone who helps create and edit the videos. Your job is to help answer: What should we make? What’s the hook? What’s the story? How should it feel? Why would someone actually watch it? Then you’ll work with our editor to get it made. Keep Content Moving Once we decide to make something, you help get it across the finish line: Idea → Script → Editor → Final Video → Posted You should know what’s being created, what’s waiting on the editor, what’s ready, and what’s been posted. The founder should not have to chase you to find out what happened to a piece of content. Find Creators You’ll help find TikTok and Instagram creators whose audiences could be a good fit for the product. You’ll: • Find creators • Keep a list of good candidates • Reach out through DMs or email • Follow up • Help coordinate collaborations We’re not looking only for huge influencers. A smaller creator with the right audience and authentic connection can be much more valuable. Pay Attention to What Works Views matter, but views aren’t the final goal. We want to know: Did people click? Did they try the product? Did they sign up? Did they pay? You’ll help us figure out what is working, what isn’t, and what we should try next. What a Normal Week Might Include • Research TikTok/Reels trends, conversations, and content ideas • Bring 10+ strong content ideas or hooks • Turn the best ideas into 5–10 scripts or ready-to-create video concepts • Find reference videos for our editor • Send scripts and clear instructions to the editor • Keep track of content moving through production • Make sure finished content gets posted • Find 10–25 creators who could be a good fit • Reach out and follow up with creators • Read comments and audience responses for new ideas • Test at least one new content or growth idea • Send a simple weekly update: what worked, what didn’t, what you learned, and what we should try next The exact numbers may change as we learn what works. Meetings & Communication You must be comfortable having regular video meetings with the founder as needed. These are working meetings where we may: • Review what’s working and what’s not • Go through upcoming content ideas • Decide what to test next • Review creator outreach • Solve problems or make decisions • Set upcoming priorities No formal presentations or corporate marketing decks. We want working conversations that help us make decisions and keep things moving. We’ll also communicate throughout the week as needed. You Might Be Perfect for This If… • You actually use TikTok. • You understand internet culture. • You know when something feels too much like an ad. • You know when a hook is boring. • You naturally notice why certain videos work. • You understand storytelling. • You write the way real people actually talk. • You can tell the difference between authentic and forced content. • You’re comfortable using ChatGPT and other AI tools. • You’re curious and willing to test things. • You’re organized. • You can take an idea and run with it without needing every step explained. If we say: “Find 20 creators who might be good for this product.” We expect you to figure out how to research them, build the list, find their contact information, and start reaching out. This Probably Isn’t for You If… Your portfolio is mainly: • Branded graphics • Canva templates • Corporate social posts • Promotional flyers • Highly produced commercials There’s nothing wrong with that work. It’s just not what we’re hiring for. This also probably isn’t the right role if you don’t personally use TikTok, need every assignment explained step-by-step, write everything in marketing language, or think every brand video needs to look like an advertisement. You do not need a fancy marketing résumé. College students, recent graduates, freelancers, creators, and early-career applicants are welcome. Show us that you understand content. How to Apply Start your application with the words: SASSY AI If those words are not at the beginning of your application, we will not review it. Then answer these questions: 1. Show Us Your Work Send 2–3 examples of natural, personality-driven TikToks, Reels, or Shorts you personally helped create. We’re especially interested in: • Talking-head content • Storytelling • UGC • Creator-style videos • Personality-driven content • Other authentic short-form content Tell us exactly what you did for each one. Please don’t send a portfolio made mostly of graphic design, branded templates, flyers, or traditional corporate social media. 2. Show Us Your Taste Send one TikTok or Instagram Reel you think is really good. It doesn’t have to be yours. In a few sentences, tell us why you think it worked. Don’t give us a marketing textbook answer. Tell us what you noticed. 3. Give Us 3 Hooks Imagine a woman says: “I hate my six-figure job, but I can’t afford to take a huge pay cut. I feel stuck.” Give us 3 TikTok hooks you would test. Write them the way someone would actually say them on TikTok. 4. Which Video Interests You More? Video A: 100,000 views → 5 people sign up Video B: 8,000 views → 75 people sign up Which one interests you more and why? 5. Find Creators How would you find 25 smaller creators who could be a good fit for a consumer AI product primarily for women? Keep your answer simple. 6. How Do You Use AI? What AI tools do you currently use and what do you use them for? 7. Creator Outreach Are you comfortable sending DMs/emails to creators and following up when they don’t respond? Tell us about any experience you have doing this. What Happens Next We’ll choose a small number of applicants for an interview. The strongest candidates may receive a paid test assignment similar to the actual work you’d be doing. The person we hire will begin with a paid 30-day trial. We’re not looking for the person with the fanciest marketing résumé. We’re looking for someone who gets TikTok, understands people, has good ideas, writes like a human, moves quickly, and knows when content actually feels authentic.
