**Title: Charity accounts preparation (2024 and 2025) - working papers provided** **Overview** We are a UK chartered accountancy firm looking for an experienced freelancer to prepare a set of charity accounts covering the full 2024 and 2025 financial years. The groundwork is done. We have complete working papers ready to hand over, so you will be building the accounts from a solid base rather than starting from scratch. You do not need to be a limited company or a registered practice to apply. We are happy to work with an individual freelancer. **What you will do** - Prepare full charity accounts for 2024 and 2025 from our working papers - Produce the Statement of Financial Activities, balance sheet and supporting notes - Make sure the accounts follow the Charities SORP and the relevant Charities Act requirements - Flag anything in the working papers that looks unclear or incomplete - Deliver a clean, review-ready set of accounts for each year **What we are looking for** - Solid experience preparing charity accounts in the UK - Good working knowledge of the Charities SORP (FRS 102) - Comfortable working from working papers and trial balance data - Accurate, tidy and able to hit deadlines - Able to ask sensible questions rather than guess **Nice to have** - ACCA, ACA or equivalent qualification - Experience with independent examination **To apply** Tell us briefly about the charity accounts you have prepared before, roughly how many, and your availability over the next few weeks.
