Title Examiner / Title Abstractor – Tennessee Tax Sale Properties

We are seeking an experienced U.S. Title Examiner or Title Abstractor to assist with title research on Tennessee tax sale properties. This is a long-term opportunity with ongoing work as we acquire properties throughout Tennessee. Responsibilities Research and examine chains of title. Search deeds, deeds of trust, mortgages, liens, judgments, probate, easements, and other recorded documents. Identify title defects, breaks in the chain of title, and ownership issues. Prepare a concise written report summarizing findings. Meet with us on Zoom to explain your findings and answer questions. Help develop a standardized title review process. Preferred Qualifications Experience working for a title company, real estate attorney, or abstract company. Strong knowledge of U.S. county land records. Experience with foreclosure, tax sale, or title curative work is a plus. Tennessee experience is preferred but not required. Excellent English communication skills. Initial Project Review one Tennessee tax sale property, prepare a title summary, and walk us through your research process over Zoom. To Apply Please include: Years of title examination experience.
