We are seeking a highly experienced Top-Rated Upwork Grant Application Manager to identify, prepare, and manage grant applications that will help accelerate our growth. This is an ongoing opportunity for someone who has a proven track record of securing grants for startups, technology companies, AI, healthcare, food innovation, or small businesses. Responsibilities Research and identify relevant grant opportunities (federal, state, local, corporate, foundation, and innovation grants) Evaluate grant eligibility and funding fit Develop a grant calendar and manage application deadlines Write compelling grant proposals and supporting narratives Coordinate collection of financial, technical, and organizational documentation Collaborate with the founders to gather required information Prepare budgets and supporting materials where needed Submit complete applications and track their progress Maintain a pipeline of future funding opportunities Qualifications Upwork Top Rated or Top Rated Plus preferred Demonstrated success winning grants for startups or small businesses Exceptional proposal and technical writing skills Experience with SBIR/STTR, NSF, USDA, DOE, NIH, state innovation grants, or similar programs is highly desirable Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent English communication skills Ability to work independently and proactively identify funding opportunities Nice to Have Experience with AI, SaaS, FoodTech, HealthTech, or marketplaces Knowledge of venture-backed startups and fundraising Experience preparing grant budgets and financial documentation About MealGenie MealGenie is building the future of personalized food by allowing customers to order any recipe they love, freshly prepared by local professional kitchens.
