About the Role We are seeking highly skilled and experienced French Transcriptionists (Transcriptrices) to join our growing team. This is a long-term, ongoing contract opportunity focused on accurate, timely transcription of legal proceedings. Please review the mandatory qualifications before applying. Key Responsibilities * Accurately transcribe audio and video recordings of legal proceedings, including hearings, tribunals, and other legal matters, into clear, accurate, and grammatically correct written transcripts. * Review, edit, and proofread AI-generated draft transcripts to produce high-quality final transcripts that meet required templates and formatting standards. * Ensure consistency in grammar, punctuation, spelling, formatting, speaker identification, and legal terminology throughout every transcript. * Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive legal information. * Communicate effectively with project coordinators and QA staff regarding assignments, clarifications, and deadlines. * Consistently meet tight turnaround times while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. * Manage multiple assignments efficiently and prioritize work to meet project deadlines. * Do mention the number of years of experience in transcription you have, and in which company Mandatory Qualifications * Proven experience in French legal transcription. * Exceptional typing speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. * Strong command of French grammar, punctuation, spelling, and legal terminology. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. *Hands-on experience with at least one of the following transcription platforms is mandatory: Otter, TurboScribe, Sonix, or Descript. * Availability to work 30 to 40+ hours per week on an ongoing basis.
