Transform 600 Sewing Patterns into Projector Files

Our brand owns an extensive collection of more than 600 digital sewing patterns, currently formatted for A4, A0, and US-Letter printing. We want to establish a long-term partnership with a highly detail-oriented vector designer or professional digital pattern maker who can transform our complete catalog into premium, optimized Projector Sewing Files. This large-scale assignment will be tackled in structured stages. To ensure a perfect technical fit, we will begin with a paid trial involving 1 or 2 patterns. Once successful, we will move on to an initial batch with the ultimate objective of upgrading all 600+ files over the coming weeks. Key Responsibilities & File Deliverables: You will modify our current source files to comply with the exact guidelines used by the projector sewing community. Each finalized file requires: Flawless Layer Organization: Each individual size needs to reside on a dedicated, properly labeled layer that users can easily toggle on and off independently. Fully Mirrored & Opened Layouts: All pattern elements originally intended to be "cut on fold" must be entirely unfolded, mirrored, and combined into one complete vector piece. Generous Border Space: Expand the canvas/artboard boundaries to provide a minimum of 40–50 cm of empty white space surrounding the entire pattern to facilitate smooth digital scrolling. Enhanced Contrast & Legibility: Set line thicknesses between 3 and 4 pt, assigning distinct, vibrant colors to each size. All pattern labels, instructions, and text annotations must be scaled up to 24–36 pt to remain clearly visible from a distance when projected. Background Precision Grid: Incorporate a separate, mathematically exact calibration layer stretching across the entire page behind the pieces, featuring both 1-inch and 2x2 cm grids. What We Look For: Advanced mastery of Adobe Illustrator. Prior experience handling digital apparel patterns and sizing/grading workflows is highly advantageous. Absolute precision and meticulousness (even one misplaced anchor point or line can result in wasted fabric and ruined projects for our buyers).
