Travel Agent in Lake Como
Worldwide
We are looking for a travel agent based in Lake Como, Italy, to support our stay. Wedding 50 guest, 25 rooms roughly less. For August 2027 Our biggest priority is finding hotels in a popular, walkable Lake Como town with restaurants, bars, shops, and easy ferry access. We really don’t want guests staying at isolated properties where they’ll need private transportation every time they want to go somewhere. Because our guests have a wide range of budgets, ideally we’d like to identify 3 hotel options within the same small area/town, roughly: $200–$350/night: more budget-friendly but still clean, charming, and well located $400–$600/night: ideally a nice 4-star hotel $800–$1,000/night: higher-end/luxury option We’re definitely open to different towns around the lake — Bellagio, Varenna, Tremezzo/Tremezzina,Menagggio, etc. — as long as the town itself is lively, walkable, and well connected by ferry. Also our tentative venue is Villa Del Balbiabello so we would want to be close-ish (no more than 20 minute boat ride day of) The most important part is that the hotels within each area are very close to one another and close to a ferry stop, ideally just a few minutes walking. We want everyone to feel like they’re staying together even though they may be at different hotels and price points. For example, one setup I’ve been looking at in Bellagio is Hotel Du Lac, Hotel Florence, Hotel Suisse, and then Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni as the high-end option. They’re all clustered right around the same area near the ferry, so guests could easily meet up, walk to dinner together, explore town, etc. That type of setup is exactly what we’re hoping to find, whether it ends up being Bellagio or another town. Bride and groom will also be staying in Lake Como for the entire week, so while we want somewhere nice for ourselves, we don’t necessarily need a $2,000+/night five-star property. With an expensive wedding already, we’d prefer not to spend another large amount. Something beautiful in that $500–$700/night range would be ideal for us 4 star. We’ll have approximately 50–55 wedding guests, although not everyone will necessarily stay at the same hotel. If there are opportunities for group rates or room blocks, we’d definitely be interested in exploring those as well. Ultimately, I’d love your help identifying 2–3 different Lake Como towns/areas that could work like the Bellagio example, with a budget, mid-range, and higher-end hotel all clustered together near the ferry. That would help us compare the areas and decide where to make our main home base. Hope this helps!!
