Travel Planner - French/English speaking

We are a tour operator selling tailor-made and private tours to French speaking clients. We are looking for French and English speaking Travel Planner, to take care of our French speaking clients. Your tasks will be: - reply to client request and chat with them (first by phone then by email) - advise them and created tailor-made itineraries - prepare commercial offers of the tour (using Excel and Word) - follow up booked clients - find locals partners (transportation, hotels, guides...) This job requires: - experience is the travel industry is a plus, but can be compensate with good travel knowledge - knowledge of several destinations (we cover Asia, Americas and Africa) - attention to details - excellent French language skills (written and spoken) - proficient English language skills to work with local partners - knowledge of Word and Excel - a regular and good internet connection Workload: - to be discussed at the beginning. Workload will increase with time - this job offers flexibility. It just requires regular availability, according to incoming customer requests - this is a long term job (not only for a few months). The successful applicant will get increasing responsibilities Your targets: - convert as many request as possible into bookings - satisfy the clients request by the quality of your advice as well as the speed of your reply - ensure internal bookings are made for confirmed trips and organise the tour Applicant profile: - ideally you have experience as a travel agent or travel planer - you have interest in the tourism industry - you listen first - you are reliable and have attention to details - you understand customer needs and know how to answer them - you work and fast and efficient
