Video Editor | Luxury Travel Brand Platforms: Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts About TSE The Suitest Escape (TSE) is a luxury travel and lifestyle brand. Our aesthetic is quiet, cinematic, and refined. Think soft tones, intentional cuts, and content that makes someone stop scrolling and stay. Every frame is a reflection of the brand's standard of taste and excellence. Role Overview You will transform raw travel footage into polished, on-brand short-form content. You will receive detailed creative briefs from the Content Manager covering storyline direction, platform intent, pacing notes, and music selection. Within that framework, you have creative latitude to bring your artistry to the work. Monthly Deliverables Up to 10 Instagram Reels and 10 TikTok videos, with the exact split determined monthly based on strategy and analytics Cover image with text per Instagram and TikTok post, styled to reflect TSE's editorial aesthetic Burned-in or styled captions on applicable video content Creative Responsibilities Edit raw footage into polished short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Translate storyline direction into a visual experience that feels intentional and elevated Apply music with precision: cuts, transitions, and pacing must work with the track, not against it Color grade all content within TSE's warm, rich visual palette: never cold, never oversaturated Add captions and text overlays that are clean, legible, and on-brand Design cover images that are strong enough to anchor the Instagram grid Ensure all deliverables meet platform specs for aspect ratio, length, and resolution Music and Sound Music direction is provided in each brief. You must be able to edit with cultural and sonic intention, including knowing where a cut lands, how a transition breathes, and how a key lyric can amplify a moment. Familiarity with R&B, Afrobeats, Neo Soul, Bossa Nova, and ambient world music is required. Turnaround Expectations First cut within 3 to 5 business days of receiving the brief and footage Revisions within 2 business days of feedback All final files delivered a minimum of 30 days before the scheduled post date to keep TSE's content calendar at least one month ahead at all times Occasional one-off projects may require a shorter turnaround of 3 to 7 days; these will always be communicated and agreed upon in advance Requirements Portfolio of short-form video edits for travel, lifestyle, or luxury brands Proficiency in CapCut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent Experience designing cover images & thumbnails in Canva, Photoshop, or equivalent Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling Familiarity with platform specs for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Reliable turnaround times and clear communication Nice to Have Experience with luxury or editorial travel content Comfort with warm color palettes and cinematic grading Experience editing content shot on a Canon G7X Mark III or DJI Osmo Pocket To Apply Share two to three examples of short-form travel or lifestyle videos you have edited. For at least one, walk us through your creative choices: the pacing, the music, the color grade, and how you interpreted the brief.
