# Full Stack Developer Needed to Build a Real-Time Salon Operations Platform (SaaS) ## Project Overview We are building a modern cloud-based Salon Operations Platform for our salon chain. This is not a simple website or appointment booking application. The goal is to build a real-time operational system that helps receptionists and managers manage daily salon operations efficiently. The platform will initially consist of two modules: 1. Turn Manager 2. Appointment Manager The architecture should be scalable so additional modules such as Billing, CRM, Inventory, Attendance and Analytics can be added later. --- ## Module 1 – Turn Manager Our salon follows a turn-based staff allocation system. Example: * We have multiple stylists/barbers available. * The first available stylist gets the first walk-in customer. * Once assigned, that stylist becomes busy. * After completing the service, the stylist joins the end of the queue. * The process continues automatically throughout the day. The system must manage this queue intelligently. ### Required Features * Real-time staff queue * Walk-in customer assignment * Specific stylist request * Staff availability management * Busy / Available / Break status * Finish service * Undo last action * Queue history * Daily reports * Audit logs * Multi-user real-time updates ### Business Rules * Walk-ins should always be assigned to the next eligible stylist. * If a customer specifically requests a stylist, that stylist should receive the customer immediately without losing their normal queue position. * When the stylist becomes free, their original queue turn should still be honoured. * Managers should be able to undo accidental assignments. * All actions must be logged. --- ## Module 2 – Appointment Manager The appointment system should integrate directly with the Turn Manager. Required features include: * Calendar view * Staff schedule * Customer appointments * Check-in * Appointment status * Appointment reminders (future phase) Appointments should automatically affect stylist availability inside the Turn Manager. --- ## Digital 3D Salon Floor One of the unique features of this project is a visual salon floor. Instead of traditional tables, the application should display a digital representation of the salon showing: * Reception * Waiting area * Styling chairs * Beauty rooms * Nail stations * Wash area * Laser rooms Each chair/station should display its current status, including: * Available * Busy * Reserved * Break * Processing * Empty Managers should be able to click a chair to view the assigned stylist, service, timer and actions. Therefore, clean architecture, scalability and maintainability are extremely important.
