Summary

Overview I’m looking for a hip‑hop‑focused logo designer to create a custom typography logo for the artist "Teff Deezy". The goal is a distinctive, memorable wordmark centered on the name “Teff Deezy,” with strong personality and performance across cover art, social media, video, and merch. The artist isn’t locked into one exact style (gritty vs polished) but responds strongly to certain visual cues and will “know it when he sees it.” Your job is to translate those cues into 6 strong logo options based on the directions below. Core Name and Emphasis - Primary text: “Teff Deezy” - Emphasis: - The “T” in **Teff** and the “D” in **Deezy** should feel visually dominant or special in some way (scale, stroke, shape, or detail). - Overall mark must remain legible at small sizes. References and What He Likes 1. “Zainer” red logo (graffiti/splatter) - Likes: - Wild, sharp, oversized first letter (the Z). - Blood‑red color and splatter/paint energy. - The way that first letter dominates the whole word. 2. “Niddy Gritty” white logo (two fonts) - Likes: - Two different type styles for the two words (blocky vs script). - Clean, bold first word; more expressive, handwritten second word. - Simple, high‑contrast white on dark. 3. “Greyce and Mercy” red painted logo - Likes: - Chunky, painted/brush lettering style. - The red tone and overall street‑art vibe. - Can easily imagine this style spelling “Teff Deezy.” The final work does NOT need to copy these logos, but it should use them as stylistic inspiration. Deliverables Requested Create 6 distinct typography logo options for “Teff Deezy”: Concepts 1–3 (close to references) 1. A “Zainer‑inspired” option where an oversized, dynamic **T** and/or **D** dominates the wordmark with paint‑splatter / graffiti energy in red. 2. A “Niddy Gritty‑inspired” option where “Teff” is in a bold, block or sans style and “Deezy” is in a contrasting script/brush style. 3. A “Greyce & Mercy‑inspired” option using a chunky, painted/brush font for both words, likely stacked, with the T and D subtly emphasized. Concepts 4–6 (creative combinations) 4. A hybrid option that combines: - A wild, energetic stroke or monogram element (inspired by “Zainer”), and - A clean/split “Teff Deezy” lockup (inspired by “Niddy Gritty”), - With some painted texture from “Greyce & Mercy.” 5. A “cinematic title” option: stacked or horizontal, strong presence like a movie title, gritty yet clean enough for festival flyers and covers. 6. A vertical or stacked option where “Teff” and “Deezy” are aligned as a column, using two complementary styles (block + script or two brush variants), designed to work well on social avatars and merch. Style Notes - Overall vibe: modern hip‑hop; can range from gritty/street to more polished/luxury, as long as it feels authentic and not generic. - Key visual ideas to explore across the options: - Dominant, stylized **T** and **D**. - Brush/paint/splatter textures in at least a few options. - Two‑font contrast (block + script) in at least one or two options. - Color: - Primary: strong red (blood‑red / painted red). - Secondary: white and black. - Please provide at least one option that works in solid white and solid black only (no texture) for small‑scale use. Technical Requirements For the **chosen final logo** (after we pick from the 6 options), we’ll need: - Vector files: AI or EPS, plus editable source (AI/PSD/Figma). - Exported PNGs: transparent background, in at least three sizes. - Variants: - Full‑color version. - 1‑color (solid black) and 1‑color (solid white). - Horizontal and stacked versions, if applicable. Process and Collaboration - Please include a brief explanation under each concept (what you combined, why T and D look the way they do, how it ties back to the references). - Revisions: We expect to shortlist 1–2 of the 6 concepts and then do a round or two of refinement on details like letter shapes, spacing, and texture. - We’re open to your creative interpretation; just stay anchored to the references and the emphasis on the T and D.
