Its core promise is telling users the correct best card to use for a given spend. If the output is wrong, the product is worthless and our credibility is gone. We need meticulous testers to validate that promise before launch. THE ROLE You will test the app hard and prove it works. Two parts: 1. OUTPUT ACCURACY (the critical part) - Run large numbers of search permutations and combinations (spend type, amount, merchant, payment method, portal, UPI vs swipe, etc.) - Validate that the recommended card and reward number is correct for EVERY card in the system, against the reference rules we provide - Log every mismatch with exact steps to reproduce, expected vs actual output, and the card involved 2. FUNCTIONAL TESTING (everything else works) - Card comparison, lounge section, deals/hacks, my cards, card visuals, and every other feature - Edge cases, empty states, wrong inputs, broken flows, visual glitches - Cross-device and OS checks WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU - Ruthless attention to detail. You enjoy finding the one case that breaks. - Structured bug reporting (clear steps, expected vs actual, screenshots, severity) - Ability to work through a large, systematic test matrix without cutting corners - Enough credit card knowledge (India) to spot when a reward output "looks wrong," not just when the app crashes NICE TO HAVE - QA/testing background or test-case management experience - You're a credit card rewards enthusiast who already thinks about this stuff LOGISTICS - We expect to hire more than one tester to cover the matrix in time - Fixed-price per test cycle or hourly, your call — quote both - Duration: through pre-launch, with cycles after launch as features change TO APPLY Describe how you'd structure testing to validate reward accuracy across every card and every search combination without missing cases.
