Summary

We are seeking a skilled UGC video creator to produce a short-form donation campaign video (60–90 seconds) for Pathway Community Foundation's HBCU Smart City Tech Fellows program. The video will live on our donor landing page and be distributed across email, LinkedIn, and Instagram. The concept is a warm, direct-to-camera appeal, delivered by an HBCU alumni or civic-minded professional, woven together with B-roll footage that visually reinforces the mission: HBCU students working alongside city governments to solve real infrastructure challenges. B-roll should include urban city environments, students collaborating in professional settings, and technology in a civic context (think city halls, data dashboards, community meetings, and modern campus environments). The tone should feel authentic, not polished-corporate, this is a community campaign, not a TV commercial. The ideal creator is comfortable on camera, can write or adapt a short script from our provided talking points, and has experience sourcing or shooting relevant B-roll. We will provide the full campaign brief, key messaging pillars, and brand color guidelines. Deliverables include one final edited video (1080p minimum, vertical and horizontal cuts), raw footage, and one round of revisions. If you have experience creating content for nonprofit, education, or civic-tech audiences, please include samples with your proposal.
