Summary

Key Responsibilities - Hands-on administration of Kronos / UKG Workforce Central (WFC), ideally version 8.x, in an on-premise environment. - Working knowledge of WFC configuration: pay rules, work rules, accruals, holidays, labor levels/org maps, and the People Editor. - Comfort with light Windows Server administration: checking services and processes, applying updates safely, and basic troubleshooting. - Solid grasp of timekeeping fundamentals, including exempt vs. non-exempt treatment, rounding, and pay-from-schedule logic. - A methodical, test-before-you-deploy temperament and disciplined change habits in a production system. - Strong documentation instinct and the self-direction to work as the sole owner of a platform. Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting multi-company or shared-services environments with cross-entity labor allocation. - Reporting skills with Business Objects (or comparable) against timekeeping data. - Familiarity with ADP integration and regulatory workforce reporting (such as CMS Payroll-Based Journal reporting in healthcare settings). - Experience in healthcare, long-term care, pharmacy, or PACE settings. - Exposure to a WFC-to-cloud migration (UKG Dimensions / UKG Pro WFM), as a future phase of this role. What success looks like In your first 90 days, you can independently keep the system running, process the routine access and reporting requests, and you have begun producing the written runbooks this role has historically lacked. Within the first year, the institutional knowledge that used to live in one person's head lives in documentation the team can rely on, and you are positioned to help plan the eventual platform migration.
