We are seeking a USA-based freelancer to assist with customer experience and business research projects. This is a remote position focused on contacting businesses, collecting service-related information, and preparing concise reports. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys communication, research, and attention to detail. Responsibilities Contact businesses during normal business hours Ask standard service-related questions Verify business information and availability Gather general pricing information when available Evaluate customer service and professionalism Prepare and submit reports through Upwork Requirements Must currently reside in the United States Excellent spoken and written English Professional phone etiquette Strong attention to detail Reliable internet connection Comfortable speaking with business representatives Previous experience in customer service, virtual assistance, research, or call-based work is preferred Compensation $30–$39 per hour Paid through an Upwork hourly contract Weekly payments through Upwork Ongoing work available for the right candidate Schedule Flexible schedule 5–10 hours per week Additional work available as project volume increases Deliverables Each completed assignment should include: Business name Date and time of call Call duration Services discussed Availability information Pricing details (if available) Customer service observations Additional notes Ideal Candidate Professional communicator Organized and dependable Detail-oriented Comfortable making outbound business calls Interested in long-term remote work Application When applying, please include: Your current U.S. location Weekly availability Relevant experience Confirmation that you are comfortable conducting professional business research calls We are looking for someone who can start immediately and become a long-term member of our research team.
