Ubiquiti UniFi Network Specialist Needed – Complete VLAN Configuration & Training

We are seeking an experienced Ubiquiti UniFi Network Specialist to design, configure, and document a secure commercial network using Ubiquiti UniFi equipment. Project Scope The selected specialist will configure a UniFi Gateway/Router and UniFi Switch(es) and create separate VLANs for the following: Corporate/Data Network Wireless (Wi-Fi) Network IP Phone (VoIP) Network Third-Party IP Security Camera Network Dedicated Management VLAN for UniFi devices The network should be designed with future expansion in mind. We plan to add Amazon Fire TV devices that will connect via Wi-Fi, so the network should be scalable and easy to manage. Responsibilities Configure the UniFi Gateway/Router and UniFi Switch(es). Create and configure VLANs for each network. Configure DHCP, routing, firewall rules, NAT, and security policies. Configure switch port profiles and VLAN tagging. Ensure proper network segmentation and secure communication where required. Verify that Wi-Fi, IP phones, security cameras, and all network devices are functioning correctly. Test the complete network before project completion. Project Deliverables At the end of the project, I expect to receive: Full administrator access to the UniFi Controller. Ownership of the UniFi Site transferred to my UniFi account (if applicable). All administrator usernames, passwords, and recovery information. A network topology diagram. Documentation of VLAN IDs, IP address ranges, subnets, DHCP scopes, and switch port assignments. Documentation of firewall rules and network configuration. A backup of the final UniFi configuration. Training Required I would like the specialist to provide a 30–60 minute remote training session demonstrating how to: Access and manage the UniFi Controller. Monitor network devices and connected clients. Add or replace UniFi switches and access points. Create, modify, or troubleshoot VLANs. Manage Wi-Fi networks. Perform firmware updates. Back up and restore the UniFi configuration. Troubleshoot common network issues. The goal is for me to be able to manage the network independently after the project is completed. Required Qualifications Extensive experience with Ubiquiti UniFi gateways, switches, and wireless access points. Strong knowledge of VLANs, routing, switching, DHCP, firewall rules, and network security. Experience deploying VoIP systems and third-party IP security cameras. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Ability to provide remote support and knowledge transfer.
