Uganda Travel Photographer / Videographer Needed (January 2027)

I am a U.S.-based Africa Travel Specialist looking to hire a solo travel photographer/videographer to document portions of my Uganda journey. This is not a commercial film or documentary project. The goal is to create authentic destination marketing content for my website, LinkedIn, and social media. Project Dates January 27, 2027 Gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Capture the overall journey, storytelling moments, portraits, scenery, and wildlife (following all Uganda Wildlife Authority photography regulations). January 28, 2027 Bwindi Lodge lifestyle photography and videography Property photography Guest experience Dining Landscapes Short lifestyle reels around the lodge Deliverables I'm looking for someone who can provide: High-quality destination marketing photographs Editorial-style portraits Short cinematic video clips (5–20 seconds) Vertical reels for Instagram and LinkedIn Behind-the-scenes footage Drone footage (optional, if permitted) Final editing is minimal. I primarily need professionally composed photos and high-quality video clips that I can use for future marketing. Ideal Candidate I'm looking for someone who: Works solo Has experience in travel, wildlife, or safari photography Is comfortable hiking and spending a full day in the field Can work unobtrusively while documenting authentic moments Has professional camera equipment suitable for both photography and video Has experience creating luxury travel or destination marketing content Please include: Portfolio or website Instagram or YouTube (if available) Daily rate Equipment list Whether you're based in Uganda or able to travel to Bwindi The visual style I'm looking for is similar to the clean, immersive storytelling used by luxury safari brands such as Wilderness—natural, elegant, and focused on the guest experience.
