OVERVIEW We're looking for a sharp, unhinged creative to write short-form hook copy for paid social ads promoting romance micro-dramas. WHAT YOU'LL DO Write 10–20 hooks per week — each a 15-second backstory that pulls the viewer into a scene before seamlessly transitioning into an ad for a romance series. The backstories do not need to make sense. They should be wildly unrealistic, heightened to the point of absurdity, and engineered to make someone stop mid-scroll. Think: the kind of opening that makes you go "wait, what?" before you even realize you're watching an ad. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR - A writer who thrives in chaos and knows how to weaponize the ridiculous - Someone who instinctively knows what makes a social media user stop, stare, and stay - Someone who loves social media, brain rot, and #drama - No attachment to realism — the more outrageous the premise, the better - Experience with romance, fan fiction, serialized drama, or tabloid-style storytelling is a big plus–but no formal writing background is required! WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Your hooks feel like they were ripped from a fever dream, a reality TV reunion, or a text thread that absolutely should not exist.
