Unity Developer needed for Tile Rummy Game Logic & WebGL Deployment (Mechanics Focused)

I’m looking for an experienced Unity developer to build a tile-based Rummy game (similar to Rummikub-style gameplay) that runs in WebGL. The main priority is accurate game mechanics, rule validation, and smooth gameplay—not high-end graphics or visual polish. If you enjoy building clean systems and implementing game logic correctly, this project is a great fit. Project Scope: ============ - Develop a fully playable tile-based Rummy game using Unity - Export and optimize for WebGL (must run smoothly in browser) - Implement correct rules for tile grouping (sets and runs) - Simple and functional UI (no need for polished visuals or animations) Core Requirements: ================ - Strong experience with Unity (C#) - Experience building and optimizing WebGL projects - Solid understanding of tile-based Rummy / Rummikub-style rules - Ability to build clean, maintainable game logic systems - Experience with drag-and-drop interactions and grid/board systems Key Features: =========== - Tile generation (colors, numbers, duplicates, jokers if applicable) - Shuffle and distribution to players - Player board/table system for placing and rearranging tiles - Drag-and-drop tile interactions - Validation system for: - Runs (same color, consecutive numbers) - Sets (same number, different colors) - Turn-based gameplay (draw, place, rearrange, end turn) - Win condition detection - Basic UI (tiles, board, player hand, buttons) Nice to Have (Not Required): ======================= - Simple AI opponent for single-player mode - Multiplayer experience (Photon or similar) - Experience with board/table-based games - Performance optimization for WebGL What I Don’t Need: =============== - High-end graphics or animations - Fancy UI/UX - Visual polish beyond basic usability Deliverables: ========== - Working Unity project - WebGL build playable in browser - Clean, well-structured code - Basic documentation on project structure and build process To apply, please include: =================== - Relevant Unity projects (especially board/tile/card games) - Experience with WebGL builds - Brief explanation of how you would implement tile validation logic - Estimated timeline and budget Goal: ==== A solid, bug-free tile Rummy game with correct mechanics that can be expanded later. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking for someone who cares more about how the game works than how it looks..
