Unity MMORPG Audit/Polish

We are looking for an experienced Unity MMORPG / online RPG development team to perform a full playable build audit and launch polish assessment for our game, Primal Nexus. This is not an immediate full development contract. The first milestone is an audit: we want your team to enter the game, play it like real users, inspect everything visually and technically, record issues, and provide a professional roadmap before we decide the next development phase. Game overview: Primal Nexus is a Unity-based online RPG/MMORPG with creature capture, creature fusion, combat, monster skills, NPC interactions, player progression and fantasy maps. Main areas we want reviewed: 1. Combat * Combat feel * Responsiveness * Targeting * Animations * Hit feedback * Balance issues * Monster/player combat experience 2. Fusion system * UX/UI of fusion * Clarity for players * Visual feedback * Success/failure experience * Balance and progression impact * Bugs or confusing flows 3. Map aesthetics and visual detail * Environmental polish * Empty areas * Props/details * Lighting * Atmosphere * Fantasy feeling * Visual consistency * First impression quality 4. NPCs and dialogues * Static NPCs that feel too lifeless * Dialogue quality * Quest/dialogue flow * NPC positioning * How to make NPCs feel more alive * Suggestions for improved player onboarding 5. AI Walker / artificial player NPC feature We are considering adding special AI-controlled “Walker” characters that behave like real players: * They would have their own account/character * They could move, farm, capture creatures, fuse creatures, loot and chat * They should not have admin/server privileges * The server must validate all actions normally * We want your technical opinion on feasibility, architecture and risks 6. General visual polish * UI/UX issues * Visual effects * Skill effects * Monster skill presentation * Animations * Feedback when actions happen * Overall game feel 7. Gameplay feel * Is the game fun? * Is it confusing? * What feels unfinished? * What should be improved before launch? * What is missing from the early player experience? 8. Performance * FPS * Loading * Network issues * Memory usage * Optimization problems * Areas that feel heavy or unstable Expected deliverables for the first milestone: * Playtest report with screenshots and annotations * Recorded gameplay/video review with comments * Bug list * Visual polish list * Gameplay polish list * Performance observations * Prioritized roadmap: Critical / High / Medium / Low * Suggested development phases * Estimate for fixing/improving each area * Technical recommendation for the AI Walker system Important: We want honest feedback. Please do not only say the game looks good. We need a serious team that can identify what is weak, what needs polish, what can be improved quickly, and what should be postponed until after launch. Required experience: * Unity game development * Multiplayer or MMORPG/online RPG experience * Gameplay polish * Combat systems * UI/UX polish * Game performance optimization * NPC/dialogue systems * Bonus: experience with AI NPCs, LLM agents, OpenAI API, Convai, Inworld, NVIDIA ACE or similar technologies Please include in your proposal: 1. Relevant Unity multiplayer or RPG games you worked on 2. Your team size and roles 3. How you would approach the audit 4. What deliverables you would provide 5. Fixed price for the audit milestone 6. Estimated timeframe for the audit 7. Whether you can also handle the development phase after the audit 8. Any experience with AI-controlled NPCs or autonomous agents in games We prefer starting with a small paid audit milestone before committing to a larger development contract.
