Unity Team Lead Developer — First-Person 3D Adventure Game (Long-term, Expert) Description: We're an independent creative production and technology studio headquartered in the United States, with a development team in Bucharest, Romania. We're building a first-person 3D Christian adventure game in Unity 6 (URP, PC-first, mobile port planned) and we're looking for a hands-on Unity Team Lead to own the technical side of the project. This is not a management-only role. You will: Design and own the game's technical architecture from the ground up (greenfield project — no legacy code) Write production-quality C# code daily Lead and mentor our development team: task breakdown, code reviews, estimates Set up the build pipeline, Git workflow, and QA process Optimize performance for PC, with mobile/WebGL targets later Work directly with the founders on production planning Must-have: 5–7+ years of professional Unity/C# experience At least one shipped 3D game where you held a senior technical role Strong software architecture skills (design patterns, SOLID, scalable systems) Recent Unity 6 / Unity LTS, URP, and new Input System experience Prior lead or mentoring experience Fluent English; availability for partial overlap with US Eastern Time Nice to have: UI Toolkit, Figma-to-Unity workflows Narrative/adventure game experience Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Unity AI, Claude Code, Copilot)
