Summary

We're looking for a talented Unity Technical VFX Artist / Cosmetic Artist to help create premium cosmetic content for our multiplayer FPS game. The work includes designing high-quality weapon skins, character/player skins, and kill finisher effects that feel polished and rewarding. Our visual style is inspired by premium cosmetics found in games like Valorant, Call of Duty, and other modern FPS titles. But we are more of a low-poly game What you'll create Premium weapon skins with unique themes and designs Animated weapon materials and shaders (glows, emissive effects, moving textures, etc.) Character/player skins Cosmetic VFX that enhance weapons and skins Kill finisher effects For example, when a player is eliminated, we'd like a short finisher effect similar to Valorant—such as a brief burst of red smoke, a floating energy orb or skull, custom particles, and matching sound effects that last around one second before disappearing. We're looking for someone who can help design effects that feel satisfying without impacting gameplay clarity. Requirements Strong experience creating game-ready assets for Unity Experience with Unity Particle System and/or VFX Graph Experience using Shader Graph or custom shaders Strong understanding of stylized VFX Portfolio showcasing weapon skins, cosmetic effects, or similar work Assets should be optimized for real-time multiplayer games Bonus Skills Experience creating FPS cosmetics Character skin creation Weapon animation experience Technical Art experience Experience implementing assets directly into Unity When applying Please include: Portfolio or ArtStation Videos of your weapon skins or VFX Examples of animated shaders/materials Examples of finisher or kill effects (if available) I need you now We're looking for someone interested in a long-term collaboration, with ongoing cosmetic content releases after the initial project.
