Unreal Engine Metahuman Animator

We are looking for a skilled MetaHuman Animator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate works primarily inside Unreal Engine 5 — animating MetaHumans, props, and vehicles, building scenes in Sequencer, and delivering polished cinematic renders. You will be given video scripts and briefs and be expected to translate them into fully realised in-engine shots, working closely with our video production team to bring each sequence to life with strong composition, lighting, and attention to detail. Training Simulation – convert procedures, inductions and competencies into LMS linked, micro-credentialled, interactive CGI training sims for high retention, efficiency and engagement Project Simulation – build CGI sims to make design projects move faster with assured validation, verification, integration, operations, construction, engagement and approvals Our goal is to modernise systems so clients can change the world for the better, faster. Responsibilities: * Animate MetaHumans, props, and vehicles directly in Unreal Engine 5 using Control Rig and the animation toolset * Review video scripts and briefs, break them down into concrete UE5 tasks, and plan scenes accordingly * Set up shots in Sequencer with strong camerawork, scene composition, and cinematic lighting * Render final outputs from UE5 to a production-ready standard * Collaborate with the video production team to ensure animation and scenes meet brief requirements and quality standards Skills/Experience: * Solid hands-on experience animating in Unreal Engine 5 — MetaHumans, props, and vehicles * Proficiency in UE5 Sequencer for shot setup, camera, and scene assembly * Ability to read a script or brief and translate it into a clear set of in-engine tasks * Strong eye for composition, lighting, and visual detail Nice to have: * Rigging experience in UE5 or a DCC tool (Maya, Blender, or similar) * Blueprint experience in UE5 * Previous experience in a video production or cinematic pipeline A showreel demonstrating in-engine UE5 animation and cinematic work is required.
